The longest suspension bridge of Germany

On October 3, 2015, Germany’s longest suspension bridge was inaugurated in the Hunsrück. With its length of 360 meters and height of 100 meters above a deep valley, it connects the two municipalities of Sosberg and Mörsdorf. It is an attraction among thrill seekers and adventurers.

The National Park Hunsrueck Hochwald

The German federal states of Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland created the roughly 10,000 hectares large, cross-bordered, national park Hunsrück-Hochwald in the south west of Germany between the small towns of Idar-Oberstein, Birkenfeld, Hermeskeil, Morbach and Nonnweiler.
