Kell am See
The Kell am See region incorporates 13 municipalities. The man-made reservoir attracts plenty of visitors wanting to enjoy popular activities such as canoeing, pedal boating, angling, or hiking on the circular trail around the lake. All that fresh air and exercise is the perfect way to work up an appetite for the region's delicious local cuisine.
Suitably sated, visitors can then move on to their next adventure and tackle the forest rope course. In the forest climbing range, children and adults can clamber from tree to tree via more than 20 stations, which are between 5 and 14 metres above the ground. Visitors should also pay a visit to the parish church in Kell to see the huge Christmas nativity scene that is on display all year round.
And in the recreational area near Schillingen, the barefoot path attracts young and old to feel with their feet.
