Hermeskeil
The small town of Hermeskeil is located right in the middle of the Saar-Hunsrück Nature Park. Visitors can discover some interesting museums on a sightseeing walk around the town.
The “Nature and landscape experience centre" located in the offices of the Saar-Hunsrück Nature Park provides guests with an immersive sensory experience of the natural landscape. Over 100 original airplanes and helicopters from all over the world are on display at the flying exhibition in Hermeskeil-Abtei. And the Rhineland-Palatinate Fire Brigade Museum can only be found in Hermeskeil.
In Grimburg, the journey through time takes you to the castle and witch museum. There you can see the finds from the almost 20-year excavation campaign of the castle that towers over the village.
